It's called the Upper Peninsula Folk Life and performances of folk artists who reflect the takes place October 2nd through 4th.
But right now out traditional arts practitioners to lead that director of the Bowir UP Heritage Center.
Dan, about this folk life festival.
I don't recall 2008 through 2010 um funded by the NEA.
Um, and we several other organizations in Marquette and the that celebrates the traditional arts, meaning another, maybe generationally, maybe culturally, you know, what traditional art is in the upper for traditional artists and crafts people.
Um, want to be part of this festival to lead some of different cultures.
We don't just want Finn.
all cultural groups to be represented.
We also whether it be as a wood turner or a carver, uh you know they may learn how to make pasties from many different backgrounds uh who want share it but also help teach people how to do it.
the Upper Peninsula Folk Life Festival takes place artists who are interested in being part of that to participate.
